Special Dental Hygiene Care takes pride in helping people who cannot easily travel to dental offices for routine care.  Many of our patients would never receive any dental care if not for our services.  Dental health is an important part of overall health.  When the teeth and gums are pain and infection free, healthy eating habits are possible.  The ability to chew food comfortably leads to better nutrition and better health.  Studies have shown that infected gums can lead to an increased risk of bacterial infections including pneumonia.   Regular dental hygiene visits are essential in preventing gum infections.
